In October 2024, British photographer Andy Soloman and Vietnamese photographer Lê Bích co-hosted an exhibition in central Hanoi showing 86 beautiful archive black and white photographs of the city taken between 1992 and 2012.

Andy’s photographs covered 1992-1999 and Lê Bích showed work from 2000-2012. These important images showed a city and its people as life transformed under economic reforms implemented by the ruling Communist Party and as the country recovered from decades of war and austerity.
