British photojournalist Andy Soloman presents Continuum: Vietnam, an emotional photographic exhibition chronicling more than 30 years of Vietnam’s transformation. This ongoing project reconnects Soloman with people and communities from his early 1990s work, highlighting the enduring human spirit within a rapidly changing nation. Drawing on original journals and photographs from 1992-1993, Soloman travelled extensively in 2022-24 to revisit Vietnam’s Central Highlands, northern highlands, Hanoi and the Red River Delta. Continuum: Vietnam documents the country’s rise from economic hardship under a US trade embargo to become a vibrant Southeast Asian powerhouse. Through portraits and images spanning three decades, the exhibition shows how resilience and cultural continuity have shaped development to link the past with the present.
