British photojournalist Andy Soloman presents “Hanoi: Traces of Time”, a photographic exhibition showing at the landmark Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi Hotel from 9 October – 9 December 2026.
As part of its 125th anniversary programme, the landmark Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi Hotel has acquired for its private collection this curated set of 16 signed, limited-edition photographic prints by British photographer Andy Soloman, to be known as the Soloman Metropole Collection.
The acquisition forms part of the hotel’s ongoing commitment to the cultural heritage of Hanoi by collecting and sharing significant artistic perspectives on Vietnam.
The 16 images offer a distinctive visual record of everyday life in Hanoi between 1992-98, with photographs spanning streets, markets, schools, factories, and everyday life.
Each image is being released for purchase by collectors in limited editions of just 25 fine art prints in four different sizes. Please click through on the images below.
Each work is printed on Ilford Galerie Gold Fibre Pearl archival photographic paper, signed (where possible), and individually editioned with a certificate of authenticity.

All prints below are for sale in various sizes as collector’s editions of just 25 copies.
Each print will be:
– Signed and inscribed by Andy Soloman (where possible);
– Numbered 1/25; 2/25; 3/25 etc depending how many have been sold before your purchase;
– Come with a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity complete with hologram security mark;
– Full caption details.
