I’d been browsing the bookshops and stalls in Trang Tien and a group of children selling newspapers, books and postcards approached me. Their eyes sparkled with enthusiasm as they tried out a few words of English. I bought some postcards and they walked with me to Hoan Kiem lake where we sat together for a while.
