Andy Soloman is a photographer and former foreign correspondent. He first visited Vietnam in 1992, lived there for seven years until 1999, and has been a frequent visitor ever since. The “Andy Soloman Metropole Collection” comprises 16 black & white images captured between 1992 and 1998. They show a society as it transforms and are a valuable record of a disappeared time in Vietnam. Andy’s highly acclaimed exhibitions in Vietnam include “Hanoi: A Time to Remember (2024)” and “Continuum: Vietnam (2025)” which was shown as part of the international biennale “Photo Hanoi ’25”
