Ba Trieu was alive with bicycles, motorbikes and cyclos. A once beautiful but tumbledown villa loomed on the corner of Nguyen Du, its worn walls housing shops selling funeral wreaths and bicycles. The scene captured the blend of daily life and history in Hanoi, where the old and new peacefully coexisted.

Một ngôi biệt thự từng đẹp đẽ nhưng đổ nát ẩn hiện trên góc đường Nguyễn Du, những bức tường nứt nẻ của nó chứa đựng các cửa hàng bán vòng hoa tang và xe đạp. Cảnh tượng này đã ghi lại sự kết hợp giữa cuộc sống hàng ngày và lịch sử ở Hà Nội, nơi cũ và mới hòa bình cùng tồn tại.
